Song name (music video description)?

This song is pretty old, I remember. I know that it's about these animated woodland creatures trying to hide from this black monster who tears up their forest. I specifically remember one part where some of the animals hide in a opening of a tree. :/ please if anyone knows what this song is, I've been looking for over 3 years to remember!!!
